The Story of Stoo Posey is a low fantasy, science fiction thriller with a sprinkling of purple passages. A story about what happened to, and what became of, the former Chef at Caruso's restaurant: who after years of working to many double shifts, along with a steady diet of Gin and tonics, suffered a nervous breakdown one evening while in the middle of a busy, Friday night dinner rush. With all the wait-staff milling about and grumbling about waiting to long to pick up their food orders, (that weren't coming out) Stoo takes off his hat and apron and throws them up into the air. Taking a French leave through the kitchens back door, he steps out into the alley,neither to be seen nor heard from again. But this is not the end of Stoo Posey, only the beginning.

With a trembling hand, Stoo raises the Half Pint bottle of Vodka up to his lips. And just before he takes a drink, he gives a Toast... no one hears. May you be in Heaven an hour before the Devil knows your gone...CHEERS.

I am first born generation American, Via Manchester, England and County cork, Ireland. I have spent most of my youth as lead singer for various Rock and Roll bands playing the club circuit. Somewhere along the way--out of necessity--I picked up some culinary skills working with different European Chefs. I have also spent long hours sitting in a corner at local Book stores learning and honing my writing skills. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed writing it.
