Come close...closer... see inside the mind of a clinically bipolar schizophrenic with multiple personalities as he opens his mind and breaks all the rules of literature and life with this book of short, dark poems!
she lay silent and still, as cold as the sheets in, late december, no light, window broken, bird perched, on window open, all alone not fleeing the season, thoughtful thoughtlessness, words mistaken for silence, to ignore it's internal instincts is certain Death, why not fly away...
Michael A. Jones is a poet, author, musician, printer and part time under graduate at Shepherd University. He is an ominous dark figure lurking in the shadows of his own mind. Shed light & find him at facebook.com/michaelajones2112.
Outstanding! I never read poetry due to the fact that every other word the writer fells it needs to rhythm. It's like 4-4 timing in a song, after a wile you know what to expect, not Michael A. Jones, his off beat, dark form of poetry will have you holding your breath for whats to come one moment and gasping for air the next! I also loved that he placed the titles of his poems at the end of the poem (if he even gave them a title) rather than at the begging!! True genus! This allows the reader to form there own connection to his work rather than telling you what he fells it's about from the start. This e-book will find a home in my e-reader for a long time, right next to some of the greats in literature history! But to tell the truth, some of the love poems that start this book are kinda cheesy that's why I only gave it a 4.

This book scares me. One moment he loves her and is sweet as can be, then he transforms into this monster that is out of control. Definitely not like any poetry I've read before.
