About the Author
I write this book of soul and heart. Beyond the world of dreams .Soon we must awake to place that which is remembered.
Many seasons away there was a forest north close to the very north pole. The summers were short in this forest. In the tall dark forest it was very cold. There lived a white deer. Do you know the white deers name boys and girls? The white deers name was Trolley. The reason he was named Trolley was because he ran straight just like a train on tracks. Trolley lived alone in this forest, so he thought. When Trolley heard noises, he just stopped and listened. If the same noise continued, Trolley would just run for life as fast as he could go. For Trolley was very alert to dangers. Trolley loved to eat red berries and leaves that grew in the wild on branches. The forest was where Trolley could hide really well. His favorite game was hide and seek. Lots of times Trolley seen his own shadows and hid from it. The forest had many trees. Some tall and others were short trees.Often winds would shake the tree limbs and Trolley even was scared of them too.In the forest it snowed many times before. The winds were as if they were trying to talk to Trolley when it whistled and tossed. Out on a slight hill side all alone was one unusual tree. It was a cedar tree. It had many green limbs the entire year round. Soon Trolley grew very tired and sleepy. He soon laid down his little self to sleep in dreams of stars and the moons light. It was a night that seemed almost heaven. Something caught Trolleys eyes. For something had called to the white deer. It was the tree. Trolley looked and looked. He seen nothing. He again went back to sleep. Again it called. What was it Trolley begin to ask of him self. Trolley was afraid. He went and hid behind the closest grove of trees and limbs. He stayed there till he felt safe to come out. The moons light sent forth many shadows this night of way. A day or two went by and the old tree broke silence to talk. The tree told Trolley my name is Flogger Nogger. I have been here many many seasons. Now one wanted me in their homes to keep for every Christmas Holiday season. Flogger Nogger went on to say, it was only his wish to have someone who would choose him to keep. This left Trolley very very saddened in heart. A few days went by. Flogger Nogger was very happy he had made a new friend in Trolley. From that moment on Trolley would always go lay next his new friend Flogger Nogger to sleep. This made Flogger Nogger feel much better.
I am Cheyene Montana Lopez Native of Alabama, now in Michigan. I have always had dreams. It was rare for us in Alabama to ever see snow or have a white Christmas. Every time I looked out my window, I would dream what it was like to have snow at Christmas. I could dream about presents and play in the snow. I grew up in the mountains of northeastern Alabama. I have seen since being in Michigan so much snow at the holiday season of Christmas.
