Your life has a divine purpose and destiny. These poems were written shortly after I had a dramatic conversioin experience and discovered my divine purpose and destiny. Finally! I knew His heart for me. He unveiled His plans for my life and anointed me to reach those who do not know their purpose or are struggling to fulfill it. From My Heart To Yours will speak to your heart and empower you to discover your purpose and build your legacy that lasts for eternity. Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart. Jer 24:7 NKJV
Dare To Dream Dreams are the language of the soul They speak to things beyond your control And if you belong to the Father above They speak to His power and His love Dare to dream! Never stop! Dreams will take you to the mountaintop Bring you into all God has for you Help achieve all He has for you to do God put dreams into your heart But from Him you should not be apart For to see all the dream is worth You need His Spirit from conception to birth Dreams are God’s way of showing There’s more to life than just trying For the strength of the flesh to achieve Instead dare to trust and believe Has your dream died in the womb? Call it forth out of the tomb! Let God breathe life into the depths of your soul Let Him have His way ;give Him control
Born in the Caribbean, Andrea Meyer’s story begins in the island nation of Jamaica. Raised by her maternal grandparents, Mrs. Meyer, born Andrea King, was on the corporate fast track earning a Master’s degree in Accounting. Her life was perfect—or so some people thought. She cruised up the corporate ladder advancing quickly, but something was missing. All of the money and success could not quell the upheaval that boiled from within. She sought relief in all of the worldly places where the lost seek salvation. Time and time again, she found these temples of foolishness to be empty and devoid of meaning. In 2000, Mrs. Meyer, who had long rebelled against her Christian upbringing, heard her call from God and experienced a “moment of clarity.” Mrs. Meyer was invited to attend the church of a childhood family friend who just happened to be a Minister. She was completely unprepared for what she was about to experience when she stepped through the doors of the Hosanna Praise Tabernacle in Kingston, Jamaica. “I was going about my business and the bam! I came in contact with a supernatural force called God and I was never the same,” said Mrs. Meyer. From the second her heart was opened to God she has not wavered. Mrs. Meyer, went on to not only be a devoted member of Hosanna Praise Tabernacle but actually became a minister at that church from 2000-2002. This path laid out by God would also lead her to love. In the summer of 2002, Mrs. Meyer married Michael Meyer, an ordained minister and missionary. This union began a journey that led the couple to extend their ministry from the safe comfortable confines of a church to the world at large. For the Meyer, their ministry would not be limited to exciting sermons but would ultimately be carried out in the trenches. The pair made the decision to become front line soldiers in the army of God. They mutually decided to focus their ministry on the youth. In 2003, the couple began working with a youth group in Hollywood, Florida. Pregnant with her first child, Mrs. Meyer continued to do ministerial work with young people. In 2004, Mrs. Meyer extended her ministry to teaching the subjects of math and social studies at the Victory Christian School. While teaching, the couple took up residency at an at-risk children’s home as house parents. After gaining valuable experience in South Florida, the couple took their experience and moved to Berea, Ohio. In 2005, the couple accepted a position with the Berea Children’s Home as Group Home Parents. Implementing a family teaching model, Mrs. Meyer has a common sense approach to Christian ministry that reaches across all cultural boundaries. Mrs. Meyer has the uncanny ability to touch those hearts that have long been shut off from love and contact. Her desire for her poetry is that it will boost faith and bring renewed hope, encouragement and enlightenment to millions of people around the world For more about the Author visit www.andreameyer.org
