Angel Kyle knows everything about life on the streets and she wants nothing more than to protect her 15 year old brother from her life. Suddenly her brother is brutally murdered by a ruthless drug lord and his crew to send her a message. She decides to send one right back by taking them all down one by one, with the help of her own crew. The cops are after them all and everyone is out for someone's blood and secrets are exposed. Blood hits the streets and it soon turns into more than just a simple gang war. It's a whole lot of mayhem.
“What do you want me to do Angel, huh? I can’t walk away from this. I-I’ve got nowhere to go.” We stared at each other for a few seconds not hearing the car speeding by. It was too fast for us to notice. The car started firing shots while it drove by us. Red managed to duck down but I didn’t. He stood back up when the car was gone. He looked at me. I was holding on to the car trying to catch my breath. Blood came out of my mouth. I had been shot. “ANGEL!” Red Eyez yelled coming over to me. I fell to the ground landing on my side. Red Eyez noticed I was shot in my back. I had 3 bullet holes. He took a hold of me. People from their houses came to see what happened and Killa K and a few other homey’s came outside. Killa K ran over. I coughed up blood and started losing my eyesight. I could hear them yelling but it was faint. Red Eyez told one of our Homey’s to call the ambulance. “What the fuck happened?!” Killa K shouted. They tried to hold me up. “It was TRG. I recognized their faces.” Red said. “So now they’re coming into the fucking hood! We need to do something.” “We’ll get ‘em later, we need to keep her breathing.” “ANGEL, COME ON BABY!” Killa K yelled. “Stay wit’ me Angel baby.” “Where was she shot?” I was trying to keep myself awake and alive. I wasn’t going to give up. “She’s shot in the back.” Red said calmly. When the ambulance arrived, they quickly loaded me into it trying to keep me alive and stable. Red and Killa had to follow in the car. I stop breathing for a moment but they brought me back. “All right she’s breathing, let’s hurry” I remembered someone saying before I fainted.
My name is Brittany Nicole Allen. I am a self-published author of three books so far. I made the setting of this story in my current city. Although I do not associate myself with that way of life anymore, these events are based on gang life and the toll that it can take. I love to write and read books about crime, gangs, mobsters, and female heroines. I hope to someday expand my books further so more people can read them. I am also a song writer with over a hundred songs and I am an aspiring actress and model. I also hope to someday accomplish those goals but for now I’m going to keep writing and doing what makes me happy and making a better life for myself and my family.
