Bruno Broome is a mutt who's been there and lived it all. There isn't a trick he doesn't know - especially when it comes to getting the best from his human owners. He knows how to get them eating out of his paws, feeding him nothing but the best, letting him sleep on the leather settee and basically ruling the roost - well, most of the time! He's cute, fluffy and has an awesome sense of humour. He'd like to share his wisdom with other pet dogs out there who may be having trouble with their humans. If you know of such a dog in need, then you must buy this book. Look at it as your contribution to canine/human relationships. You won't regret it. Neither will your mutt!
INSTRUCTIONS TO HUMANS: Please read this book out loud to your dog, then leave it somewhere where he can look at it himself at his own leisure – remember, the book is aimed at him, not you. Thank you for your cooperation and for buying this book for your beloved pooch. Believe me, you will be doing yourself a favour in the long-run! After a few months with this book your dog will soon have you transformed into the perfect owner and dog/human relationships will positively flourish. INSTRUCTIONS TO CANINE TRAINERS: To all you dogs, to all you mutts, to all pooches and pet canines out there, pedigrees or mongrels, cross-breeds or Crufts champions! Your human owner does, no doubt, have to read this manual to you, because you never went to school to learn English (I suspect) and you’re not in the habit of visiting bookshops. Your human obviously bought this book out of curiosity and because you’re struggling to train your human in some way; so please take the time to understand this training manual, otherwise you may end up in the pound - probably through no fault of your own. Either that or they’ll put an ad on the internet saying “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must sell/give away our beloved Rover. Good home only.” Well it’s got to be better than the one you’re in if they’re giving up on you, right? Or maybe your home is secure, but you’ve been invaded by cats, hamsters, rabbits or worse still; bearded dragons… heaven forbid… and you need advice on how to cope with the mangy critters. Whatever your human-pet related problem; there’s an answer in this book. Best wishes on your journey and maybe I’ll catch you in the park sometime and you can tell me how you’re getting along with the training journey. Yours hopefully, Bruno Broome H.T.E. (Human Trainer Extraordinaire).
Enya Broome lives on a smallholding on the side of a mountain in North Wales with her husband and two children (and a third on the way). She has ponies, sheep, a dog called Bruno, four farm cats and a bearded dragon, all of whom form inspiration for her stories.
