For the marriage supper of the Lamb - FESTIVAL TIME 1 I was more than excited, when I finally realized that Matthew 8:12 was also swiftly unfolding before me; For it was then the very welcomed time when followers of our most Faithful One could finally "sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of Heaven." 2 Then tens of thousands of us witnesses were briskly escorted by angelic wait staff, over to our throne-like red velvet seats; And we were then hastily seated at a really long marble table, that would’ve held the greatest record, in any book of records ever written. 3 For that exquisite dining set was untold miles long, and was lavishly set with a gourmet spread, that was even fit for a convention of kings, like the world below had never seen before. 4 'Twas therefore the very special moment, when the words from Ecclesiastes 10:19 rapidly resounded; For the supper that was being laid out before us was a “feast” that was “made for laughter.” 5 'Twas also the very giddy occasion, when our merry hearts were already experiencing a continual smörgåsbord of some real fantastic elation, just like Proverbs 15:15 once said. 6 And it was also then the very delightful season, when even the former feasts of passover, and tabernacles, were soon made to seem like some cheap spread from off of some dollar deals menu, at some greasy fast food joint. 7 For there was absolutely nothing that could ever compare to the awesome wonders, that were unexpectedly being placed in front of us all. 8 So it was then plain to see, that utter extravagance was all around us; And Christ was with us there, in those most beautiful moments, to share His greatest zest and zeal. 9 And we were then in the midst of such heavenly bliss, that was far thicker than any smog ever was! CHAPTER 8 THE FEAST TABLE 1 Countless millions of us soon enjoyed real spirited fellowship, while heartily feasting upon the kind of succulent food, that many of us hadn’t ate for many years; And the appetizing eye candy type of courses, that were being served to us, were second to none. 2 Nor was there anything that was being set before us, that was served on ordinary beds of lettuce; For the greenest leaves of the trees of life glowed with some very powerful energy, while they decorated every course that was being served to us: Neither were our salads prepared with anything else. For it was clear that we all had finally arrived; And life was great! 3 Therefore, Yeshua was a very generous host indeed, that used His unique imagination well, for that following superb extravaganza; And without any question, our Chief Decorator of the Heavens had painstakingly created a very delightful mood, along with a most royal ambiance: 4 For that marvellous table was softly lit by thousands of flickering white candles, that were held by gorgeous ruby holders. And they were spaced out every dozen feet or so, as far as the eye could see! 5 Nor could anyone there, ever deny that those holders weren't real works of art; For they were all carved into vertical standing fish, with dancing stars shimmering within their midst. 6 And crystalline topaz goblets also carefully lined those settings, along with fig leaf shaped plates, that were made from the finest fire opal that ever blazed away with the most vibrant reddest hues. 7 Even the metals of the flatware, was also hand crafted into some very charming utensils; For that ornamented cutlery was made of pure platinum that the phoney gods of our world would have drooled over. 7 Nor were any of those forks, knives, or spoons anything less than spectacular. For they were the most gorgeous things to ever grace any royal dining table that was all set to impress. CHAPTER 9 EXTRAORDINARY 1 The cutlery even matched the sculpted salt and pepper shakers, that were fashioned from the whitest of gold; And the creativity behind their beauty was far beyond just plain old remarkable. 2 For those heavy sets were even molded into mini trumpets, that really looked like they could actually make music. However, the most ornate, and impressive things that adorned that giant table, were countless centerpieces, that I first thought were made of ice. 3 But upon closer inspection though, I soon realized that they were actually made from the kind of stuff that was once every girl's very best friend. 4 Then those sparkling diamond masterpieces were spaced out every fifty feet or so, with each one standing about two feet tall. 5 And from out of the endless possibilities, that our Lord of Infinity could have picked for their blessed design, He wisely chose the perfect thing to represent Heaven - the trees of life. 6 But the very best thing, was that actual fruit from the real deal was also being served as an appetizer. 7 Nor could any of us ever turn away from that blood red fruit. 8 Neither could anyone ever possibly turn down the hidden manna, that also awaited us saints in bowls, cast from the most glittery gold. 9 And nobody doubted that the awaiting new wine would be like nectar to our souls; Even the scarlet napkins were attractively folded, and made into decorative fans that orientals would have been envious over. 10 And beyond the single candles, and holders, about every hundred feet apart, there was also a much larger silver candle set; Neither could anyone ever fail to see the outlandish beauty of those lavish seven branched Menorahs, that were sitting there like gleaming treasure of the very best kind. 11 And it was additionally really nice, that those ancient looking candlesticks burned with olive oil, that was laced with frankincense, in order to bring a swift heavenly scent unto all of the guests.

Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1961, Daniel Fletcher Owsley moved to Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1975. He presently resides there with his beautiful wife, Linda Anne Owsley, and lovely children Esther, Clay, Aaron, and Jewel. After Linda completed 3 years of Bible College, both Linda and Dan were ordained as Non Denominational evangelists in 1999, with the Wings of Love Ministries. Daniel then completed a 3 year Journalism program in college, and went on to over 20 years as a marketer and salesman. Daniel’s ambitions include becoming a full time Bible fiction author, along with standing part time in the office of an evangelical prophet until such time as the Lord finally reverses that order.
