Mary Stevens has been teaching and coaching children and adults for the past 20 years. She has devoted her entire life to helping others. She is an elementary school teacher, basketball coach, karate instructor, and a pilot. Surrounded By Evil and Lies is based on a personal experience that happened during her last year of coaching.
I'm a teacher too and this story really hit home. I was in tears as I read what happened to Coach, and I could sympathize with him because I see what's in this book everday. I'd recommend this to any parent, student, or teacher. Hopefully people will start treating each other nicer after reading this.
