The book is a quest for why Jesus wept because of Lazarus. The answers found were more complicated than the quest itself, so more explanations were sought. The story that was told by an unseen being was used to relate to the situations of life as it affects us today.
In my quest for an explanation of why “Jesus wept”. I am the most astonished by the findings. We know that it is written in the Gospel of Saint John 11:35 “Jesus wept”. We also know that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is not the weeping prophet. Yet many people have placed little or no emphasis on the verse “Jesus wept”. Many people have failed to ask, why must the shortest verse of, one of the most scared book, The Holy Bible be “Jesus wept”? We have not asked, what was so different or special about Lazarus that Jesus wept? Let us remember that in the Gospel of Saint Luke 7: 11-14.Jesus did not weep in the city of Nain, where he resurrected the only son of the widow. Jesus Christ of Nazareth even told the widow “weep not”. Then why must Jesus weep in the case of Lazarus? Jesus had the opportunity to heal Lazarus but he let him die. If we have to consider other miracles that were recorded performed by Jesus. Then we can rightly say that Jesus had the power to heal Lazarus, without even going to Bethany. Just as in the case of the centurion’s servant, faith and word would have been enough to heal Lazarus. Is it possible that Jesus allowed Lazarus to die so that he can weep? It is a hidden mystery. It is not by chance that “Jesus wept” was made the shortest verse of the Holy Bible. It is the summary of most, if not all, that you can ask. It is the summary of most, if not all, that you can know. It is the summary of most, if not all, of the problems that need solutions. It is the answer because my quest was to find an answer to some of situations that can make life, as we know it, unbearable for us. Then the answer I found happened to be why “JESUS WEPT”. Therefore, I sought in same quest for an explanation of why Nazarene wept. But no matter how simple the explanation can be made, only those that have eyes to see and ears to hear can understand the message inherent in this quest. Unfortunately, for mankind many are blind and deaf, because they have eyes to see but could not see. They have ears to hear but could not hear. I am astonished by the findings of this quest, because the answers were and can be directed to various aspects of life. The answers can explain various situations. Therefore even to the many that are blind and deaf. These findings can open their eyes and ears to the extent they permit it. Then, to those that may choose to remain blind and deaf. These findings will answer some, if not all, of their questions. In this quest I was told a story. It is a story that many people may have experienced in one way or the other. A story, anyone can be a part of. I was then enlightened on two different planes. Then I was left to find the answers to my own questions. I established a harmony between both planes. I revealed the answers but it can always be the beginning. I weep because such knowledge has been with us over the ages, yet, we do not know it. I weep because we seem to search for answers to various problems and situations while the answers have ever been before us. This is a call to hold on to your worthy desire. This is a call for a positive and a constructive change for the interest of humanity, just as Lazarus was resurrected. It is a wake up call. Wake up from your sleep and slump, oh! Ye men of the earth. Wake and know the much you can, because no matter how much you may know. You will always be ignorant of many things. Saint John 11:35 is so short that many overlook it. Just as narrow is the gate that leads to life. And only few find it.
